Members. 6. Posted December 22, 2021. I have 3 skyscale skins. When I apply dye on 1 skin that changes dye to all of them on the current char. I can't have 1 skin red, 1 skin blue and 1 skin green. When I bought shimmer the other day it was at the start shown in colors of my current skyscale but not in default.
I actually really love the fantasy of the skyscale chair, that you're not on it and ready to fly in an instant but instead just relaxing, like you would on any of your other chairs, and also have the ability to instantaneously swap to the mount itself to fly up and do things. The Griffon and Roller Beetle are both faster (Skimmer is too, only on water) but the Skyscale is the most useful utilitarian mount in the game. I use it probably 95% of the time I'm mounted. There is plenty you can accomplish by juggling the mounts your using.
