This was a great recipe which I highly recommend. I used non-fat Greek yogurt, 1/2 cup olive oil instead of 1/3 cup, replaced the white wine vinegar with balsamic vinegar and left out the salt & sugar. It was a perfect dressing for my spring mix salad and would make an excellent marinade. Tastes good on bread too 😊.

Ingredients: For 1 main dish (2-cup) or 2 side dish salads (1-cup each) For 2 main dish (2-cups each) or 4 side dish salads (1-cup each) Balsamic, red wine or white wine vinegar, lemon juice, lime juice or combination of vinegar/orange juice
Place lemon juice, anchovies, garlic, kosher salt and red-pepper flakes in a medium bowl. Step 2. Stir (don’t whisk) in the olive oil. Step 3. Season to taste with salt and several good grinds on the pepper mill for a bright, bracing dressing. Cover, and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. Preparation. Step 1. In a toaster oven or skillet, toast almonds until golden brown and fragrant. Set aside to cool. Step 2. In a bowl, combine lemon juice and 1 heaping teaspoon salt. Slowly whisk in olive oil. Add garlic cloves and set aside to steep. Step 3. Storing: This basil dressing will last in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, after that the basil will start to deteriorate and the lemon may taste too acidic. Separation/solidifying is normal in the refrigerator! Just sit the dressing out on the counter at room temperature for 5 minutes and stir it up before serving. How to Make Lemon Vinaigrette. Step 1. Squeeze two or three lemons and add enough juice to fill about one-third of a jar. Your French Salad Dressing is best with lots of good, fresh lemon juice. Step 2.
